Imperatives
Os imperativos são verbos usados para
comunicar comandos, instruções ou
sugestões.
Para formar o imperativo afirmativo usa-se o
verbo na forma infinitiva (sem conjugá-lo) e
sem “to”.
to drive
Drive carefully.
to reduce
Reduce the use
of plastic.
Para formar o imperativo negativo coloca-se
“don’t” antes do verbo na forma infinitiva
(sem conjugá-lo) e sem “to”.
to shout
Don’t shout in
the classroom.
to waste
Don’t waste
water.
Para fazer pedidos e solicitações, basta
acrescentar “please” no final ou no início da
frase.
