Complementa o verbo, substituindo algum
objeto em uma frase, evitando a repetição.

Usa-se após verbos ou preposições.
Example:
I bought shoes and gave them to my girlfriend.
(em vez de : “I bought shoes and gave the shoes
to my girlfriend”)
