Main Topic of Research
Theories of legal validity: validity is mostly the specific characteristic of a normative
frame of reference which determines it as positive law; the preference for different
characteristics is what still justifies the distinction between natural law theories and
legal positivism; this individual research aims at a justification of criteria of validity in
the light of the contemporary problems of global legal pluralism.
