Há duas possibilidades:
► Primeira
It + is/was + verbo especial no particípio passado + segunda frase
1ª frase
2ª frase
Someone says / that Susan is vegetarian.
It is said that Susan is vegetarian.
► Segunda: Há dois modos
A) Se o verbo da 2ª frase estiver no presente:
Sujeito da 2ª frase + is/ was + v. esp. no particípio passado + verbo da 2º frase no infinitivo (com “to” = nome do verbo)

Someone says / that Susan is vegetarian.
Susan is said to be vegetarian.
B) Se o verbo da 2ª frase estiver no passado:
Sujeito da 2ª frase + is/was + verbo especial no particípio passado + to have + verbo da 2ª frase no particípio passado
1ª frase

Someone says that / Susan was vegetarian.
Susan is said to have been vegetarian.
1ª frase

Someone said that / Susan was vegetarian.
Susan was said to have been vegetarian.
Examples:
One thinks that James is crazy.
It is thought that James is crazy.
James is thought to be crazy.
Somebody considered that James was bad.
It was considered that James was bad.
James was considered to have been bad.
People find that James is 108 years old.
It is found that James is 108 years old.
James is found to be 108 years old.
Nobody knows that James has a son.
It is not known that James has a son.
James is not known to have a son.
Anybody didn’t know that James had a son.
It was not known that James had a son.
James was not known to have had a son.
EXERCISE – fazê-lo em uma folha separada, com nome, número e série. (É para ser entregue para o/a professor/a)
Passe as frases abaixo para a Passive voice, usando as duas possibilidades descritas acima.
1. Everybody says (that) the old man keeps ten dogs in his place.
2. People say (that) Henry is 108 years old.
3. Everyone considers that the leak started two days ago.

5. Everybody understands that the drugs are dangerous.
