BH1306 History of Modern Philosophy: the rationalist perspective (4-04) Syllabus: This discipline presents a general view of the birth of Modern Philosophy, in regard of some of its central aspects. In this sense, the following themes will be approached: reason, experience and method; subject and object on Modern Philosophy; metaphysics, truth and groundwork of knowledge; mathematization and mechanization of nature; reason and faith.
