Embora os verbos regulares constituam a maioria dos verbos na língua
inglesa, temos que considerar os verbos irregulares. Vejam alguns:

FORMA INTERROGATIVA
A forma interrogativa segue uma regra bastante
fácil. Antes do pronome acrescenta-se o verbo auxiliar
DID
, em seguida pronome e verbo no infinitivo (
DID
= PRON. = VERBO NO INFINITIVO):

FORMA NEGATIVA
infinitivo (
Na forma negativa acrescenta-se a partícula
DIDN’T logo após o pronome, seguida do verbo no
DIDN’T + infinitivo):

Lembre-se que o uso do ‘DID’ em oração afirmativa também indica a idéia de
ênfase. Ele não tem tradução, mas indica passado e no modo afirmativo, negativo ou
interrogativo (uso obrigatório).
